Mission, Vision and Values

Staff

Gheda Gayou, Deputy Director, is an accomplished preservation leader with over two decades of experience in historic preservation, project management, and public grant administration. She has overseen multi-million-dollar grant portfolios and advanced process improvements across government and nonprofit sectors. As an architectural historian, Gheda holds Masters Degrees in Historic Preservation and Construction Management and has provided expert guidance through her consulting firm. With a collaborative and equity-driven approach, she builds strong partnerships and fosters innovation in preserving historic places across Colorado.


Cindy Nasky, Preservation Strategist, is an architectural historian with a love for and extensive experience in historic preservation, conservation easements, rehabilitation project management, grant administration and consultation. Nasky has over 30 years of experience in the field of preservation. She earned her Master of Arts degree in Public History/Historic Preservation from Colorado State University.


Catherine Stroh, President/CEO,  a native Coloradan, enjoys exploring Colorado's diverse range of geography, communities, and history. Her executive background includes owning and operating an advertising agency, serving as the American Institute of Architects Colorado Chapter CEO, managing operations of an insurance trade association, and merging five nonprofit organizations into one. She obtained her Master of Nonprofit Management degree from Regis University. Stroh has been certified as a Historic Real Estate Development Finance Professional(TM) by the National Development Council (now known as Grow America).
